TLU accepting online applications through Drupal based portal

Texas Lutheran University has started the fall semester with a new Drupal based online application system designed and developed by Proof. Their applicants are able to create accounts and complete the multi page application in one or more sessions, saving progress so that they can return at any time. The application includes detailed biographical and geographical information, education history, interests and more. Applicants can upload required documents, pictures and files. They can review and refine their application as much as they choose before submitting.

Proof has used an ESS connection to enable the TLU staff to see the queue of applications in progress live within EMS, their FileMaker based admission system. When an application has been submitted online, they are able to import the application in full into EMS for processing, including essays and supporting documents. Proof has instituted full duplicate checking against the existing records in the admission database.

TLU expects to receive over 1,200 online applications this year which represents nearly 90% of their total application. The tight integration that Proof has done between the new Drupal application and EMS will make processing the applications and managing the data far more efficient.
