FETC and ProofSupport thoughts

Thanks to everyone who stopped by the FileMaker booth at FETC and took some time to chat with us. I was particularly pleased to see the interest in ProofSupport. We heard both from visitors to the booth and from the FileMaker folks that there is a need for top level support and advice that goes beyond the technical support that FileMaker is able to offer themselves. Several people commented that a program like ProofSupport provides the benefit of attention from professional developers without first having to commit to a long term consulting relationship, as well as a low risk, high reward way to get a feel for how a consulting relationship would work.

There is sometimes a tension between in-house developers and professional consultants like Proof -  a reluctance to involve an outside expert in projects for fear of losing control of the process or the end product. From the feedback we got, ProofSupport seems to be a pretty good way around that.
