The fmSpark screencast that Ernest and Mike did with Matt Petrowsky at DevCon 2008 is now available on the FileMaker Magazine website. This is an in-depth, real time demo of fmSpark functionality, and a perfect introduction to what fmSaprk can do. Ernest and Mike did a very nice job showing it off!
Many thanks to Matt for giving Proof the opportunity to show what fmSpark can do. From his commentary during the video, it is clear that he appreciates the functionality as well as the reason for building fmSpark in the first place. Matt sums up our feelings about the utility of fmSpark perfectly when he says about it, "You've got to leverage what exists. If you're going to take the time to reinvent the wheel and do all this merging again, it's almost like there's no point. You guys have a lot going on here." And we couldn't ask for a better endorsement.
We want fmSpark to be the tool that saves FileMaker developers from having to worry about building merge functionality into their solutions. Incorporate fmSpark into your solutions to handle merging and you can focus your time and energies on other problems.
