Happy new year. It certainly is a happy one for Proof. After 2 years of being restricted by agreement from working with the schools and people that we all had built relationships with over our many years at inResonance, we are now finally free to reach out and reconnect.
In the coming weeks and months we will be reintroducing ourselves to old friends and catching them up on what we have been doing at Proof since we all left. No doubt there will be plenty of questions about why we left and why each of us seemed to drop off the grid.
The answer to the first question is actually pretty simple: we all are proud of our contributions in our previous endeavor, but we all have a vision of what software, support and consulting should be that required a fresh start to achieve. We believe in data integration, bringing the best technologies to bear, and solving problems in an open-minded way. We believe that it is our responsibility to deliver tremendous value in all that we do. And we believe that providing world class support is our most important job.
The answer to the second question is even more simple: when we left we agreed not to contact or work with our former clients for 2 years. Those 2 years are up.
We haven't been sitting on our hands waiting for the time to expire by any means. We have continued to work with a number of schools on exciting projects including online admission integration, unified contacts, migration and improvement of legacy admission, enrollment and development systems, complex data reporting, mapping, training, consulting and always support.
We have developed and deployed version 1 of Proof For Schools on a custom basis. And we are busy at work on the FileMaker Pro 10 native PFS 2.0 which will be available for summer deployment. Proof for Schools is about data integration and ease of use.
And of course we released fmSpark to much fanfare. It has been extremely well received and is being used across many industries. Truth is, the reason we developed it in the first place was to solve the challenge of managing letters, labels and emails in admission, academic and development offices. Lots of layouts and limited email control just didn't cut it and so we built fmSpark. It can be integrated into any FileMaker 8.5 or higher database, and can replace the multiple letter and label layouts that clutter and confuse most systems.
So we are here to help. We can provide the best possible support for ANY FileMaker or Drupal solution, whether it is developed in-house or otherwise. We can provide software development and consulting services that will enhance the utility, stability and functionality of your existing FileMaker or Drupal systems. We can facilitate a level of integration that few schools currently enjoy. And when the time is right, we can provide new, cutting edge solutions built for usability and efficiency with data integration at their core.
Cheers to a successful 2009,
