Proof joins WhippleHill Ecosystem

Proof is happy to announce that we have joined as partners in the WhippleHill Ecosystem. We have taken advantage of WhippleHill''s API to provide meaningful integration between our admission and enrollment system and the WhippleHill Podium SIS. Schools can now manage the admission process with Proof then push new students and families to Podium with the push of a button. No exports and imports - honest to goodness integration into the workflow. And that is just the beginning. Stay tuned.

Can I get dashboard for my database?

We have been asked several times recently whether it is possible to fit some of the functionality that we have built into Proof for Schools onto an existing FileMaker database. With some exceptions, the answer is absolutely. We can, and have, developed dashboard interfaces for admission and development databases that were not originally built on our PFS framework.

2008 Election: Take home lessons re: school technology

In many ways, this election was a testament to the impact of the information technology. We are in a kind of "second age" of information technology--it isn't maturing, it has matured.

I take home a couple of lessons from this.
